Basic Rules

1. Initiative
Both players roll:
/random 20 + DEX
Higher roll goes first.2. Attack Roll
On a player's turn, they roll:
/random 20 + STR
This roll is compared against the opponent's AC.
A roll of 20 is considered a critical hit3. Armor Class (AC)
AC Calculation:
10 + DEX4. Attack Types
Players can choose between three levels of attack:
- Light Attack: No modifier.
- Medium Attack: -1 to attack roll, +1 to damage roll.
- Heavy Attack: -2 to attack roll, +2 to damage roll.5. Damage Roll
On a successful hit, the player rolls:
/random 4 + STR
Add modifiers based on attack type:
- Light Attack: No additional damage.
- Medium Attack: +1 to damage roll.
- Heavy Attack: +2 to damage roll.
- Critical Hit: +4 to damage roll6. Miss Penalty
If an attack misses, the opponent gains a bonus to their next attack:
- Miss on Light Attack: Opponent gets +1 to next attack roll.
- Miss on Medium Attack: Opponent gets +2 to next attack roll.
- Miss on Heavy Attack: Opponent gets +3 to next attack roll.7. Hit Points (HP)
HP Calculation:
15 + (CON * 2)
Damage is applied to the opponent's HP.
The fight continues with the next player attacking.8. Winning the Fight
The fight ends when a player's HP drops to 0 or below.
The remaining player with HP above 0 is declared the winner.Note: All the calculations for the rolls are done by the referee, the players just need to roll the /random

Betting

Pari-Mutuel Betting System
In the Queen of the Iron Paw, we use a pari-mutuel betting system. This means that all bets are pooled together, and the odds are determined based on the popularity of bets placed on each fighter. The more bets placed on a fighter, the lower the payout odds for that fighter, and vice versa.House Take
The house takes a 15% cut from the total betting pool.Changing Odds
Odds are subject to change based on the popularity of bets. As more bets are placed on a particular fighter, the odds will adjust accordingly.Bets Left
On the upcoming fights page, "Bets Left" represents the amount of gil currently allowed to be bet on a fighter. If there are no bets allowed on a fighter, this will display as 0. This limit ensures a balanced betting pool and prevents any single fighter from having an overwhelming number of bets.Betting Restrictions
If there are only bets placed on one fighter, the bets will not function. Bets need to be placed on both fighters to ensure a fair and balanced betting pool.
