Shion was mainly raised by her father in the Azim Steppe because her and father could only see her mother and siblings on special occasions because of the rules that were made between the Azim Steppe and Sui no Sato. During her childhood her father taught her the ways of fighting as a monk, that went on until she was old enough that she learned everything that she could from her father. He sent Shion off to learn more of the way of the monk in Ul’dah to be taught by his old master. Shion’s Experience arriving in Ul’dah and finding her guild was advenful to say the least. She met some nice people that helped her out and were her friends through her journey through Eorzea and helped her be who she is today.
